Allied Ronin supports the efforts of
AIESEC
International and
Aiki-Extensions, and encourages you to consider doing
likewise.

Recognized by the United Nations as the world’s largest
student organization,
AIESEC
is the international platform for young people to discover
and develop their potential. Since 1948, over one million
people were given the opportunity to have an impactful
leadership experience through AIESEC. Today, AIESEC offers
its members an integrated development experience comprised
of 5000 leadership opportunities, 4000 work abroad
experiences and 350 conferences every year.
AIESEC's
platform also enables over 5,000 organizations to interact
and source high-potential university students and graduates
internationally coming from over 800 universities in over 95
countries and territories.

Aiki-Extensions offers insight into ways of living that
are less combative, isolative, dissociative, fearful,
wasteful and stressful. Aikido originated and continues to
be taught as a martial art, in dedicated training centers
known throughout the world as dojo. The objective of aikido
is to improve one's character and to learn how to respond to
aggression in a socially constructive way. This is
accomplished through the cultivation of responsibility,
integrity, clarity of vision, empathy, and the ability to
care for oneself, one's fellows, and one's environment.
Aiki-Extensions teaches how to respond to aggression
without counterattacking and how to combine human energies
beneficially, without for a moment losing sight of forces
that periodically incline humans toward destructive attacks.
The skills it promotes are thus no less useful in sitting
around a negotiating table than in responding to physical
threats.
